A special honeymoon in Namibia

KuanguKuangu was our favourite lodge of the honeymoon in Namibia. We were treated like royalty from the moment we arrived from Windhoek. Willem was superb, so very knowledgeable and kind. We had a braai pack on our first night, at the cabin. The food was absolutely fantastic. It was very special. A dinner for 2, alone in the Namib  desert.

Next morning  we went to Sossusvlei  dunes with Willem (he was very helpful and knowledgeable; cold drinks on arrival were a very nice touch). The early light on the dunes was very beautiful. There were only 4 of us in total so we could enjoy walking on the Sossusvlei dunes at our own pace. The climb up dune 45 was definitely worth it – and not too hot early in the morning.

Then we went to Dead Vlei where we chose to spend quite a bit of time – such a strange place. The trip finished with a real banquet of a brunch under the  trees -  which was delicious!

We chose  to drive ourselves to Sesriem canyon rather than take the guided trip which was quite practicable and definitely worth doing.
The next day we went to Naukluft park for a day walk. We enjoyed very much. Then a nice dinner back “home”.

KuanguyKuangu  was a wonderful experience with such personal service and lots of fun. Attention to detail was amazing and the whole experience was really outstanding. Another five star rating for KuanguKuangu.
This is truly a special place and we would love to return again one day if we come back to Namibia

« Merci beaucoup de nous avoir permis de vivre ce moment unique dans ce havre de paix en Namibie. L’heure est maintenant au départ, mais on se sent ressourcé, des idées plein la têtes. A bientôt? » Jane

« Three days … three nights of joy and magic! This is an incredible place – in many ways … the light, landscape, warm wind, and colours of this space will stay etched in my spirit and memory for a long, long time. The wonderful hospitality and companionship provided by Willem and Hannetjie was much appreciated. It was a gift therapy for my soul. I hope to return. Thanks for the experience, this very special Namibian experience. » Annick

« Never before have we been so close to nature. It has been an awsome experience. The mountains change colour as the sun moves, and to sit and watch the transformation is a privilege we are honoured to have witnessed. » Kelvin

« KuanguKuangu? A stunning location, beautiful room and great food. Friendly hosts. The first ‘sociable’ lodge we stayed at, and it was very nice. A very special lodge in Namibia. » Paul

« We really enjoyed our stay at KuanguKuangu. The views were magnificant. We were able to relax.
The home made braai at the cabin is an experience we won’t forget. » Andrea

« KuanguKuangu was our favourite lodge of the honeymoon. We were treated like royalty from the moment we were met off the plane. Our hosts were superb, so very knowledgeable and kind. the owners were so professional and would tend to any need. We had a special meal at the cabin (a braai). It was very special. The food was absolutely fantastic.
In the afternoon, after a siesta we went to Naukluft mountains; a wonderful trek. We could not fault anything with KuanguKuangu. We loved the fact that this lodge was luxurious but alsofocused on being kind to the environment. This is truly a special place and we would love to return again one day if we go back to Namibia. » Elodie and Marc
